WELCOME TO THE INAUGURAL EVENT PUT ON BY CRAG!

The greater Fredericton area has been abuzz with Geocaching activity since the beginning of 2022 and we would like to invite everyone to gather here for the celebration of two major milestones – the completion of another great WINCAT season and the introduction of CRAG ( Capital Region Association of Geocachers), a non-profit organization.   

 

WHO:       Geocachers at all levels of experience

WHERE:   Hanwell Place, 5 Nature Park Dr., Hanwell, NB

WHEN:    April, 30th   10:30 -4:00 pm

WHAT:    10:30 – 11:00  A presentation on CRAG and opportunity to purchase a membership

                11:00 – 11:30  Set up for Potluck

                11:30 -  1:30  Potluck,  Presentation of WINCAT Prizes,  Door Prizes, 50/50 draw

                  1:30 – 2:00  Set up for Geocaching 101 session

                  2:00 – 3:00  Powerpoint presentation, helping folks with getting the App on their phone and  

                                            signed up with an account

                  3:00 – 4:00  Helping newbies find caches!

 

ADMISSION:   Free,  but you’ll  want to bring some cash and/ or your chequebook if you wish to support

                          CRAG after hearing all about it

 

The finer details of this event are still under development so please check in regularly and log your Will Attend early, with as much detail as possible on your plans – how many family members you are bringing with you, which portions of the day’s festivities you plan on taking in.  We will be reaching out to folks who wish to participate in the potluck so that not everyone brings dessert!

Through the combined efforts of members of CRAG and the Parks & Recreation Committee of  Hanwell Rural Community, the Geocaching 101 session is being offered to the residents of the Community free of charge.
