Idlewild North is located in the farthest reaches of the park.
Well almost. It is not as long a hike and bushwhacking as hiking and bushwhacking go, but it is the most one will have to do in Idlewild Park. Once near GZ, It is not a difficult find.
At this location there once was a cache called Backlash. It was a fun, although not easy, puzzle. It is now archived. For the fun of it, you may wish to make an attempt at a solution. Other than the checker on the cache page, the sure confirmation of a correct solution is the posted coordinates of this one. Kudos go out to TermiteHunter for Backlash and for letting it go for the sake of Idlewild North.
When trekking to place the cache container I encountered a park employee who was continuing to clear, for the sake of disc golfers, small trees and underbrush. I told him what I was doing. He nodded stating that he was quite aware of geocaching. In Idlewild and other parks, he has come across a dozen or more caches mentioning ammo cans, bison tubes, and what we know as gadget caches. I suggested that he might sign on as a cacher and log these serendipitous finds.
