PRESENTS

Blue Switch Day 2022

Sunday, May 1st

"Blue Switch Day" is held on May 2 each year and recognises when the US Government 'flipped the switch' and made high-accuracy GPS available to everyone. A day later on May 3rd the first geocache was hidden by Dave Ulmer in Oregon USA.

This event is being hosted in Whiteman Park, 28km East of Perth. Entrance to the Park is off either Drumpellier Drive (ex. Lord St) or Beechboro Rd in Whiteman. The park opens at 8:30am on the day of the event.

By attending an event between April 30 and May 2 you will receive the "Blue Switch Day Souvenir" on your geocaching profile.
