Questa virtual cache è da considerarsi un omaggio al Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'Unesco, sia materiale che immateriale, ed è ispirato ad una scena del romanzo 'Il libro segreto di Valdur'.
Cos'è il Patrimonio dell'Umanità?
Il Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'Unesco, noto anche come Patrimonio Mondiale, è un insieme di oltre 1.000 siti dissemintati nel mondo (siano essi culturali, naturali o misti), selezionati in base a dei criteri adottati dalla Convenzione sul Patrimonio dell'Umanità nel 1972 con lo scopo di identificarne e mantenerne l'integrità per le generazioni future.
Al momento l'Italia, con 58 proprietà, è il Paese più rappresentato in Lista, seguita dalla Cina (56) e dalla Germania (51).
Cos'è il Patrimonio Immateriale?
Il Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale è una selezione di tradizioni, convenzioni, abilità, festività, legate ad una determinata cultura che la mantiene viva, ma la cui importanza è da considerarsi mondiale.
Venezia e la sua laguna.
Venezia e la sua laguna sono entati nel Patrimonio Culturale dell'Unesco nel 1987.
Ecco la motivazione: "Fondata nel V secolo e distribuita su 118 piccole isole, Venezia divenne una grande potenza marittima nel X secolo. L'intera città è uno straordinario capolavoro architettonico in cui anche il più piccolo edificio contiene opere di alcuni dei più grandi artisti del mondo come Giorgione, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese e altri".
Il tango.
Il tango è entrato nel Patrimonio Immateriale nel 2009.
Ecco la motivazione: "La tradizione argentina e uruguaiana del tango, ormai familiare in tutto il mondo, è stata sviluppata dalle classi urbane inferiori di Buenos Aires e Montevideo nel bacino del Rio de la Plata. Tra questo mix di immigrati europei nella regione, discendenti di schiavi africani e nativi della regione noti come criollos, un'ampia gamma di usanze, credenze e rituali sono stati fusi e trasformati in un'identità culturale distintiva. Essendo una delle incarnazioni più riconoscibili di quell'identità, la musica, la danza e la poesia del tango incarnano e incoraggiano la diversità e il dialogo culturale. Viene praticato nelle tradizionali sale da ballo di Buenos Aires e Montevideo, diffondendo lo spirito della sua comunità in tutto il mondo anche se si adatta ai nuovi ambienti e ai tempi che cambiano. Quella comunità oggi comprende musicisti, ballerini professionisti e dilettanti, coreografi, compositori, cantautori, insegnanti d'arte e tesori viventi nazionali che incarnano la cultura del tango. Il tango è anche incorporato nelle celebrazioni del patrimonio nazionale in Argentina e Uruguay, riflettendo il diffuso abbraccio di questa popolare musica urbana".
Cosa fare per loggare la cache.
1) Preferibile
Per loggare la cache si richiede di recarsi in Piazza San Marco (cuore della proprietà unescana di Venezia) e di scattarsi una foto (non è necessario che si mostri il viso, se non lo desiderate) possibilmente mentre si interpreta un passo di tango o in cui si mostra un oggetto legato a questa tradizione.
Per loggare la cache è sufficiente postare il log 'Trovato' con il commento e la foto.
2) scelta opzionale
Se proprio non vi piace il tango, potete scegliere un altro dei Patrimoni Immateriali dalla lista qui sotto e mostrare qualcosa legato a esso (usate la vostra immaginazione e divertitevi con idee originali e buffe, i Patrimoni Immateriali sono moltissimi, compresa l'arte di fare la pizza!).
Per loggare questa opzione è necessario specificare nel log quale Patrimonio Immateriale si è scelto e postare la foto.

A Tango in Venice
A World Heritage Site within a World Heritage Site
This virtual cache is to be considered a tribute to the UNESCO World Heritage on the occasion of its 50th anniversary (November 16, 2022) and is inspired by a scene from the Italian novel 'Il libro segreto di Valdur - The secret book of Valdur'.
What is a World Heritage Site?
The UNESCO World Heritage is a set of sites scattered throughout the world (whether cultural, natural or mixed), selected on the basis of criteria adopted by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 1972 with the purpose of identifying and maintaining its integrity for future generations.
At present, Italy, with 58 properties, is the most represented country on the list, followed by China (56) and Germany (51).
What is Intangible Cultural Heritage?
Intangible Cultural Heritage is a selection of traditions, conventions, festivities, linked to a specific culture that keeps it alive, but whose importance is to be considered worldwide.
Venice and its Lagoon:
Venis and its Lagoon was inscribed in the Unesco World Heritage in 1987.
Here is the motivation: "Founded in the 5th century and spread over 118 small islands, Venice became a major maritime power in the 10th century. The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists such as Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese and others".
Tango:
Tango was inscribed in 2009 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Here is the motivation: "The Argentinian and Uruguayan tradition of the Tango, now familiar around the world, was developed by the urban lower classes in Buenos Aires and Montevideo in the Rio de la Plata basin. Among this mix of European immigrants to the region, descendents of African slaves and the natives of the region known as criollos, a wide range of customs, beliefs and rituals were merged and transformed into a distinctive cultural identity. As one of the most recognizable embodiments of that identity, the music, dance and poetry of tango both embodies and encourages diversity and cultural dialogue. It is practised in the traditional dance halls of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, spreading the spirit of its community across the globe even as it adapts to new environments and changing times. That community today includes musicians, professional and amateur dancers, choreographers, composers, songwriters, teachers of the art and the national living treasures who embody the culture of tango. Tango is also incorporated into celebrations of national heritage in Argentina and Uruguay, reflecting the widespread embrace of this popular urban music".
What to do to log the cache.
1) Preferable
To log the cache, you are required to go to Piazza San Marco (the heart of the UNESCO property in Venice) and take a photo (it is not necessary to show your face, if you don't want to) possibly while you are performing a tango step or in which shows an object linked to this tradition.
To log the cache, simply post the 'Found' log with the comment and photo.
2) optional choice
If you really don't like tango, you can choose another of the Intangible Cultural Heritages from the list below and show something related to it (use your imagination and have fun with original and funny ideas, there are many intangible Cultural Heritage properties, including the art of making pizza!). To log this option, you must specify in the log which Intangible Culturale Heritage you have chosen and post the photo.
