Geocache Description:

Welcome to Long Beach, WA! This city is one of our families' very favorite places in the entire world! We love hanging out on the beach, riding bikes on The Discovery Trail, as well as getting some good food in town.

We have set up this Virtual Cache so that you will begin in town and travel out to the beach. There are 2 logging requirements.

Requirement 1 (Posted Coordinates)

At this first stop, you will need to snap a picture at the Long Beach arch. You can do this on either the West side or the East side of the arch. While your face does not need to be in the picture, a personal item does need to be (ex: GPS, personal stamp, car keys, etc.). This demonstrates you are a Geocacher logging a Virtual Cache and not a tourist taking a picture.

Requirement 2 (Additional Waypoint)

You now need to visit the additional waypoint in order to complete the second task. You will need to write your Geo-Name in the sand as well as the date you are visiting. Again, while your face does not need to be in the picture, a personal item does need to be (ex: GPS, personal stamp, car keys, etc.) This demonstrates you are a Geocacher logging a Virtual Cache and not a tourist taking a picture.

How to claim your find:

Now that you have your two pictures, upload them with your "Found it" log onto this listing.

Note: If logging a find on the Geocaching app, attach one picture to your "Found it" log and the other to a "Write Note" log.

***IF A "FOUND IT" LOG IS POSTED WITHOUT FULFILLING THE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE, IT MAY BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE AFTER 72 HOURS***

Note on wheelchair accessibility: While the beach is not accessible to traditional wheelchairs, The City of Long Beach has partnered with local businesses to allow everyone to enjoy the beach! Free-to-use, beach-accessible wheelchairs are available at several locations around town. Click on this LINK for more information and where to pick one up.

Thank you for completing our Virtual cache and for visiting one of our favorite places! smiley
