It was 20 years ago today...
For 15 years, brass capping was a part of caching in Alberta. More than a thousand cachers logged at least one cap find. Some, present company included, logged hundreds. Along the way we travelled the width and breadth of the province, hiked up to remote mountain tops, trekked to the middle of the badlands, crossed unmarked prairies, and gathered strange looks on city sidewalks.
Those days are gone now, but some of us still remember. And so I think it's about time that the guy who started it all, outforthehunt, gets his very own Brass Cap.

In order to log this virtual, your task is simple:
- Go to the coordinates.
- Find the brass cap.
- Take a picture of the cap with something identifiable of yours. It can be as simple as a piece of paper with your geocaching name on it.
- Include the picture in your log.
That's all there is to it!
I'd invite any cappers of old to include their favourite capping tale, true or not, in their log, but I honestly don't think I could stop anyone with the inclination to reminisce if I tried... and why on earth would I? Here's to one more capping run, for old times' sake.
