Geocache Description:

***PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY***

This cache is being placed for the Greater Charlotte Geocaching Club (GCGC) 2022 "Dark Arts" contest that requires the use or implication of low light levels to find or access a geocache. With that being said, I need to make it abundantley clear that this cache is intended to be accessed using a flashlight or UV light (black light) as a tool. So, COME PREPARED WITH EITHER, BUT ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT IT'S UP TO YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN SECURE ENOUGH "DARKNESS" AROUND THE NECESSARY AREA TO SEE THE INFO NEEDED...

HOW TO ACCESS:

Once you find GZ, you will realize why this cache is named "Birdbrain". There are 3 rows of numbers on the container. each row contains a number in sequence that will give you the combination. Those specific numbers will be revealed with the use of either a flashlight or UV light, and enough darkness to help them "glow". use your hands, hankerchief, or even a leaf to shield or block enough light that will allow you to see the numbers when they illuminate. Those digits, in numerical order, will be you combination. DO NOT POST SPOILERS OR YOUR LOG ENTRY WILL BE DELETED.

INSIDE:

Once unlocked, open the front door, and say hello to Cluck Kent who inhabits this cache. BEHIND him, you will find a large bison tube type container hanging from a hook that houses a log sheet and some tiny bits of swag. There is room for other swag or even trackables within Cluck Kent's living room. I didn't intend for any items added to be strictly confined to the bison tube, so feel free to utilize any available space to drop trackables.

LEAVING:

Please make sure to replace Cluck Kent in his home properly before closing the door to minimize the amount of maintenance runs I have to make to this location. If you're not sure, just remember: he likes to smell his own feet. If you find any damage or need for maintenance, please let me know with the proper note, or message me privately. I anticipate having to reapply some paint at some point to ensure proper glowing effect for the combination. Thank you in advance for helping me keep this cache in good condition, and fun for all.

There is a FTF medalion inside for the lucky someone who gets here first... I guess one might say "the early bird gets the worm"!

Congradulations to Sean J. Allen, FTF!
