O Porto de Pedro Miguel está situado na Ponta de João Dias. É um pequeno porto para pequenos barcos de pesca e do outro lado do promontório há uma pequena praia que é um ótimo lugar para nadar e mergulhar. A área de piquenique no verão é frequentemente usada para festivais locais. Do miradouro tem-se uma vista magnífica sobre a vizinha ilha do Pico e a costa leste do Faial. Você será acompanhado por uma pequena estátua de São Pedro.
The Porto de Pedro Miguel is situated on the Ponta de João Dias.
It is a small port for small fishing boats and on the other side of the promontory is a small beach which is a great place for swimming and snorkelling.
The picknic area in summer is often used for local festivals. From the viewpoint you have a magnificent view on the neighbouring island of Pico and the east coast of Faial. You will be accompanied by a small statue of Saint Peter (São Pedro)
