Stop 2 – Lock, Stock, & Barrel; or just Lock

Stop 3 – Zero
Hint 3: Nope not the bench but not far from there. Collect the hidden letter within the hidden word to discover the final phrase. The code word is also located at GC9F7BG at letter position #8.
Stop 4 – Sally
Hint 4: Don't let the size of this tree overwhelm you.... the "little tree" next to it doesn't seem overwhelmed even though they are not quite to the water their view is amazing. Stop 5 - Dr. Finklestein
Hint 5: Don't forget to take a moment to observe the great view. Sometimes the best view is from the corner. Collect the hidden letter within the hidden word to discover the final phrase. The code word is also located at GC9J0JR at letter position #3.
Stop 6 - Jack
Hint 6: Low terrain never bothered Jack. He remains close to his "roots" regardless of how much those roots curve. Collect the hidden letter within the hidden word to discover the final phrase. The code word is also located at GC9HWQ9 at letter position #.1
Stop 7 - Oogie Boogie
Hint 7: Yep... that's the spot... you might need to cross the moat to get to Oogie Boogie. Collect the hidden letter within the hidden word to discover the final phrase. The code word is also located at GC9KED0 at letter position #3.
Stop 8 - Creepy Crown (Watch out Stock, Barrel)
Hint 8: What another bench... no it isn't that easy but it might be just up the hill from the bench. Collect the hidden letter within the hidden word to discover the final phrase. The code word is also located at GC9KFJ1 at letter position #8.
Final
Final: To finish the lab follow all the spots until the end...once there only one question can get you into the device. Years are important in the end. Don't forget the last letter in the secret code word.
Updated Notes:
The final phrase was supposed to unlock stage 9 (Final stop) however due to complications and unexpected events at the end of the year we needed to modify in order to get the series out and ready for those cachers. Don't fret though... I will think of a creative way to work the phrase back into another event so you hard long caching hours don't get "un-used".
