This is a memorial cache for a woman whose departure from this life left a huge hole in her family, church, and community. The cache name refers to a teasing moniker that she received as a young girl which she later embraced. Her early and young adult life was fraught with difficulty. She overcame these troubles to the effect of becoming a driving force for good and for service in her community. Those viewing her funeral service were in the many hundreds. Many shed tears at the loss.
How many of us will leave a community noticeably bereft with our departure?
The cache takes you into Mason Wallace District Park and you will have to make a short, steep climb to discover the cache. This climb is purposeful - to denote that those who will make the effort to endure or overcome the difficulties of life will garner a reward.
