Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the Posted Coordinates

The posted coordinates are, however, the perfect place to park before doing the necessary calculations and setting off to find the container.

In order to obtain the actual coordinates you will need to visit the 5 locations of the Five Beaches Adventure Lab, answer the questions correctly and make notes from each question as instructed there. You will then have 5 clues: three are a single letter, convert these to numbers using the traditional A=1, B=2, Z=26 formula. There are also two single-digit numeric clues. You may want to print this page before setting off so you can record the answers here.

Stage 1 - Racecourse Beach. The 1st digit of the number
S1=

Stage 2 - Burrill Beach. The 1st letter of the 1st word
S2=

Stage 3 - Collers Beach. The 1st digit of the number.
S3=

Stage 4 - The Bogey Hole. The 6th letter of the 3rd word
S4=

Stage 5 - Mollymook Beach. The 1st letter of the 1st word
S5 =

The cache can be found at S 35° 18.ABC' E 150° 28.DEF' where

A=S5

B=S3

C=S1

D=S2

E=S4-S5

F=S4-S1

You will then be looking for a camouflaged bison tube cable-tied behind a branch of a tree, a few metres off the main path. Bring your own pen

Welcome to Narrawallee, where you get two beaches for the price of one.

This park has public toilets, BBQs, fresh water and picnic tables. To the East, beyond the public toilets, is a sandy path leading down to the northern end of Narrawallee beach. This is popular with surfers and is the best beach in the area for walking and jogging.

To the West is a ramp down to Narrawallee Inlet. Even at high tide the inlet is very shallow and is popular with families. It is possible to wade right across to the other side but, beware, there is a deeper channel at the far side and some swimming may be required.

There is a path running along the side of the inlet which can be traversed by a wheelchair, but roots obstruct the path in places and assistance will probably be needed to get past them. Strollers should have no problems. The path ends where the inlet meets the sea, but it is possible to scramble around the headland to join the main ocean beach and complete a round trip.

Since groundspeak does not provide any mechanism for members to download the coordinates of Adventure Lab stages, I have included the locations as virtual stages here. You may wish to add these to your GPSr device to aid in navigation. I have also added the parking coordinates for the Bogey Hole.

Congratulations to J+J.au for FTF
