6.00pm - 9.00pm (Food must be ordered by 8.00pm)

Angus and Sherry the friendly independent owners will reserve the area to the right of the bar for us and we are also welcome to use the outdoor covered patio area. As a country pub it does does not open late (usually closing at 8.30pm) but will be staying open until 9.30pm for the event however the kitchen closes at 8pm.

Food can be ordered on the night and the main menu can be found here and there are also additional basket meals. It would be very helpful if you could post a 'will attend' and whether or not you will be eating to enable me to give the pub some idea of numbers.

There is a fine selection of Fullers Beers and lagers and a large range of flavoured gins. The pub has a large carpark and is dog friendly (it has won dog friendly awards).

As is traditional, the wooden chest will be available for the swapping and discovering of Geocoins and Trackables and there will be a raffle - Please remember to bring cash to purchase raffle tickets.

There are 3 caches published for the event in Denmead - Critters of High Wood. These are not within walking distance of the pub but will be ideal for picking up before the event if you are caching in the area.

If you've never been to an event before please feel free to come along - Events are always a great way to meet fellow cachers, get some tips and hints on those unsolved puzzle caches, tricky hides or other advice and help. You're welcome to message me in advance through my profile/email and I will look out for you and introduce you to others - you can be assured of a warm welcome.
