Després d’anys fent servir combustibles fòssils de forma continuada la terra ha quedat immersa sota un núvol tòxic deixant-la quasi bé a les fosques.
Això ha tingut un impacte importantíssim al regne vegetal, reduint-ne dràsticament l’activitat fotosintètica i, de retruc, la presència d’oxigen a l’atmosfera. Totes les espècies aeròbiques han patit conseqüències devastadores.
Ara bé, sota els densos sotaboscs dels alzinars, s’ha detectat la presència d’una nova espècie no identificada, amb un metabolisme anaeròbic, que aprofita les molècules tòxiques de l’atmosfera i en la catàlisi d’aquestes emet llum.
Des de la GAVINA (Geo Agència de Valldoreix en la Industria Natural Aplicada) t’han demanat a tu, ecòloga, que estudiïs aquesta nova espècie, la que sembla que és l'última esperança per a la supervivència de l’espècie humana -si és que és una bona notícia per a la Terra que sobrevisqui l’espècie humana, però això ho deixarem per a un altre wherigo ;)-.
És de vital importància la rapidesa en aquesta missió, ja que estar massa temps exposat a l’atmosfera tòxica pot arribar a ser mortal en qüestió de poques hores. Des de la GAVINA intentarem ajudar-te sempre que ens sigui possible per a garantir l’èxit de la missió.

Detalls del Wherigo
Aquest wherigo ha estat testat amb les apps WhereYouGo d'Android, i l'app Wherigo® d'iOS, totes dues gratuïtes. Per tant, aquestes són les dues opcions que recomano que feu servir. Si useu iPhone és preferible no sortir de l'aplicació ni bloquejar el mòbil mentre us moveu o l'app deixarà de seguir-vos i us perdríeu esdeveniments importants. En Android no m'ha resultat imprescindible però és recomanat. En cas de dubte, descarregueu el cartutx usant l'opció "Pocket PC Device".
Algunes consideracions importants que caldria que llegíssiu abans d'embarcar-vos a l'aventura:

És un catxé nocturn, per tant, el Wherigo només funcionarà quan sigui de nit. Entre la posta de sol i les 7 del matí. Si vols saber amb més precisió a partir de quan pots començar, obre el cartutx a casa durant el migdia i et dirà a quina hora podràs començar a jugar-hi aquell dia. Per norma general, a partir de que sigui fosc. |

Té una durada d'unes 2 hores (tenir-ho en compte per l'ús de la bateria), entre 3-4km. A més, el recorregut és semi-circular, així que podeu aparcar tranquil·lament a prop de les coordenades inicials on generalment hi ha espai de sobra. |

Ja s'ha comentat, és important. Dur llanterna i pinça telescòpica. Recomanat llapis i paper per si de cas. |

El Wherigo conté sons. Aquests sorolls juntament amb els reflectants t'ajudaran a trobar les etapes físiques de les quals n'hauràs d'agafar i endur-te 1 pista. 1 per expedició! Aquestes estan subjectes a espolis. És per això que tindràs dret a 1 bonus per si alguna etapa no està disponible -no el facis servir si no vols escalar un arbre, que potser més tard te'n penedeixes-. |

Les pistes us les podeu quedar si les voleu de record. Qui no la vulgui que les deixi amb el llibre de registre i ja les reaprofitaré quan vagi a fer manteniment. |

Terreny: 
No és per espantar sinó una crida al seny. Aquest wherigo combina ser nocturn amb escalar 4 arbres. No són massa complicats (potser un arriba a T4 i els altres T3-T3.5) i jo mateix els he escalat de nit. Però cal ser molt conscients del que estem fent. Absteniu-vos d'intentar-lo en condicions meteorològiques desfavorables. No me'n faig responsable. L'aneu a cercar al vostre risc.

After years of continuous use of fossil fuels the Earth has been immersed in a toxic cloud leaving it almost in complete darkness.
This has had a huge impact on the plant kingdom, drastically reducing its photosynthetic activity and, consequently, the presence of oxygen on the atmosphere. All the aerobic species have suffered devastating consequences.
However, under the dense undergrowths of holm oaks forests, the presence of an unidentified species with an anaerobic metabolism, which uses the toxic molecules of the atmosphere to produce light on their catalysis has been detected.
From the GAVINA (Geo Agency of Valldoreix In Natural Applications) they have asked you, ecologist, to study this new species, which seems to be the last hope for the survival of mankind.
It is of the uppermost importance the fast procedure of this mission, since being exposed for to long on this toxic atmosphere can become mortal in a matter of a few hours. From the GAVINA they will try to help you whenever there is a chance to ensure to success of the mission.

- Smartphone compatible with Wherigo.
- Long grabber, or however this is called.
Wherigo details
This Wherigo has been tested with the Apps WhereYouGo for Android, and the App Wherigo® for iOS, both of them free of cost. Therefore, those are the two options I recommend you use. If you are using iPhone, it's preferred not to leave the App nor lock your screen while playing this Wherigo or the App will lose track of your movement and you could miss important events. For Android it is not indispensable but recommended. In case of doubt download the cartridge using the option "Pocket PC Device".
Some important considerations you should read before embarking on this adventure:

This is a nightcache, this means, the Wherigo will only start at night. Between sunset and 7 am. If you want to know with more precision when you can begin, open the cartridge at noon and the game will tell at what time you will be able to begin that day. As a rule of thumb, start after dusk. |

It lasts for about 2 hours (keep in mind for battery usage purposes), around 3-4km. Moreover, the route is semi-circular, so you can park at the listing coordinates where there is usually plenty of available space. |

It has already been told, but it is important. Bring your Flashlight and grabber. Pen and paper is also recommended, you never know. |

This Wherigo contains sounds. This sounds together with the reflectants will help you to find the physical stages from which you will take 1 hint. 1 per expedition! This can be spoiled. That is why you are entitled to 1 bonus if a stage is not available. Use it wisely or you might regret it later. |

You can keep the hints as a souvenir. If you don't want to keep them, just leave them by the logbook and I will reuse them when I do maintenance. |

You will be warned, but there is an area with cliffs nearby. DO NOT approach them, it will be dark. |

In summer you might encounter some thorns. |

Terreny:
This is not to scare but for caution. This Wherigo combines being a nightcache with having to climb 4 trees. They are not too complicated (around T3-T3-T3.5-T4) and I have climbed them myself at night. But you must be aware of what you are doing. Refrain yourself from trying it with in unfavourable weather conditions. I am not responsible for it. You go looking for it at your own risk.
