Parkeren kan aan het einde of begin van het weggetje naar de cache. Parkeer niet op deze weg want de boer moet bij zijn land kunnen komen. Het hek aan het einde van het weggetje mag ook niet geblokkeerd worden.
Aan de andere kant van het weggetje naar deze cache ligt Golfbaan Dirkshorn.
Dit is een 18-holes golfbaan. Wanneer je het spelletje een beetje onder de knie hebt en rekening houdt met de roughs, bunkers en waterpartijen die je onderweg tegenkomt ben je in 72 slagen rond en kun je aanschuiven bij de 19e hole (welverdiend, proost). Maar ja, of dat gaat lukken met de afslag vanaf een schiereiland of juist de green die alleen maar over water bereikbaar is? En dan kan ook de wind op sommige holes nog behoorlijk roet in het eten gooien.
Golf, is dat geschikt voor geocachers? Deze cache is in ieder geval een test voor je balgevoel.
Een hole in one. Best wel lastig lijkt ons. Een hole is maar een klein deukje op een grote groene vlakte. Zie dat maar eens te vinden. En als je de hole gevonden hebt moet het balletje er nog in. En dat natuurlijk volgens de heersende spelregels, zeg maar de codes van het spel.
En dan begint het echte spel. Sommige golfers slaan waarschijnlijk het liefst nieuwe ballen over de golf course, terwijl andere spelers gerust een oud balletje over het veld meppen. Op internet is tenminste een grote handel in tweedehands ballen. Daar hebben ook wij onze slag geslagen en een hele verzameling ingekocht.
Laat het spel dus beginnen. Als je de slag te pakken hebt geven de ballen de code prijs. Lastig? Misschien. Maar in het juiste licht bezien valt het eigenlijk best wel mee.
Gelukkig voor jouw zijn wij de beroerdste niet en krijg je de eerste code van ons: 8472.
Voor het ontgrendelen de zwarte sluitingen schuiven en openklappen.
Alle ballen verzááámelen!
Na het loggen graag alle ballen weer terugplaatsen, de sloten op de juiste plek plaatsen (het slot met de X in de grote kist) en deze goed sluiten (dichtdrukken, code verdraaien, loslaten). De zwarte sluitingen weer dichtklappen en schuiven.
De cache graag uit het zicht terugleggen.

You can park your car at the head or end of the small road to the cache. Do not park on the road itself since the farmer should be able to reach his field at all times. The fence at the end of the road should also not be blocked.
On the other side of the road to this cache the Dirkshorn Golf Course is located.
This is an 18-hole golf course. When you've mastered the game a bit en take into account the roughs, bunkers and water features you encounter along the way, you'll be round in 72 strokes and you can join the 19th hole (well deserved, cheers). But the question remains whether that will work with the tee-off from a peninsula or the green that is only accessible over water? And then the wind can also throw a spanner in the works on some holes.
Golf, is that suitable for geocachers? This cache is in any case a test on how you address the ball.
A hole in one. Seems quite difficult to us. A hole is just a small dent on a large green expanse. First of all you have to see whether you can find it. And when you have found the hole, the ball still has to go in. And that of course according to the prevailing rules, or codes, of the game.
And then the real game begins. Some golfers probably prefer to hit new balls over the golf course, while other players feel free to slap an old ball across the field. At least on the internet there is a large trade in second-hand balls. We also did our bit there and bought a whole collection.
So let the game begin. If you hit the right trick, the balls will reveal the code. Difficult? Perhaps. But when viewed in the right light, it's actually not that hard.
