You've heard of MEGA-EVENTS? This World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) is quite the opposite in a variety of ways. Come be part of this historic micro event! Only 30 minutes long! There will be many other events with hundreds of other geoacahers all coordinated to happen on the same day around the world. WWFM events bring together geocachers for a fun and unique event and to introduce others (muggles) to the fun of geocaching.

The event will be held on the morning of September 18, 2021, at the Coos Bay Boardwalk where we can show off our spirit of fun for all to see!

9:55 - 9:59 Gather
Be near ground zero, but don't group together. Get ready for some fun!
10:00 - 10:10 2020 Pop and Play
Gather as a group (it's a flash mob, after all; we'll show up and start the fun all at once). We're going to relieve some stress with friends and bubble wrap popping!
10:10 Group Photo
Assemble and listen to the photographer for directions.
10:15 - 10:30 STOP...
...being an organized group and just hang out and chat. Catch up with other cachers. CITO the area. Make plans for more geocaching fun.
I'm sure there will be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" That's part of the fun! Maybe we can turn them into geocachers!
