This HQ-owned cache provides a unique opportunity to contribute to environmental improvement and protection efforts in a way that’s most meaningful and safe for you. Click GC8NEAT to visit that cache page and what you need to do to earn your smile for GC8NEAT. Note that you can earn GC8NEAT in many ways; there is no requirement to join a CITO event!

WHERE YOU FIND THE GEOCACHER GROUP:
Cachers tend to spread out in several smaller groups along the jetty (the rocky area). Look for people wearing geocaching gear or apparel. Remember, you are one of us, and all cachers look alike.

THE LOG:
We retrieved these marvelous items during previous CITO events and used them as the event log and to frame the CITO group, see pictures. Feel free to post your snap-shot Group Pictures. Should you miss the group picture, no worries, post a picture that shows you with the CITO bag or grabber at the beach. Please note that Geocaching.com does not require you to physically sign the log when attending a CITO event or post pictures.

EARNING YOUR SMILEY:
Should you arrive late, or simply DNF the CITO crew (sometimes we blend in with the muggle crowd quite well), if you attended the beach cleanup and filled a bag of trash, you earned your smiley. Selfies are desired but not required.

Some pictures shown are from CITO events that took place before the pandemic.
