This is the twenty seventh in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Zoe94, matthewgibbs and I have decided to try and get a regular event off the ground. This is an informal get together of geocachers to chat about all things caching and non-caching, and the ninth in the series that I have hosted.
The event will be at The Hop, Arches X & Y Granary Wharf Dark, Neville St, Leeds LS1 4BR from 18:30 to 20:30, but I'm sure a few people will stay longer than that. We're a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven't been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I'll look out for you. Hopefully we'll be easy to find.
At time of writing it's not clear if the venue is currently serving food on Tuesdays. I will update if I find out either way.
It is expected that all in attendance will follow all Covid-19 guidance in force at the time the event takes place, both from the government and the venue. The venue has a large outdoor area. We cannot book tables outside, but if weather and availability permits we plan to make use of the outdoor seating for the event. Otherwise, we have booked an area inside which we can make use of.
How to get there:
By train - Leeds railway station is about a 2 minute walk from the venue, using the south entrance.
By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 15 minute walk away. Many busses also stop nearby on Infirmary Street, which is a 5 minute walk from the venue.
By car - There are a number of streets within 5 minutes walk of the venue with free parking after 18:00 (David Street, Water Lane, Marshall Street, Manor Road to name a few). The closest multi storey is probably Trinity Leeds, which is £4.00 after 17:00 and around a 5 minute walk away.
I look forward to seeing you there!
