And they said it wouldn't return...So after missing last year for some reason or other and against my better judgement we are back for our 3rd fat ball smooshing event. So come along to the Yorkshire in Bloom Platinum award winning cemetery and earn your CITO season souvenir. You could also use this as an opportunity to log GC8NEAT while you are here and earn a double souvenir.
If you have been to any previous events here please read the listing carefully as there are some important changes to be aware of since we last held an event here.
You will spend 20-30 mins making the feeding balls. Then have a cup of tea (bring your own mug as we are plastic free) and a bun and head out onto site to hang up your feeders. About an hour in total. We will be working outside so remember to check the forecast on the day.
Important information, please read.

In a change to previous events, there will be a small donation charge of £2 per adult, payable in cash upon arrival. This is to cover the cost of materials used at the event.
On the day, meet at the rear of the new Harriet Centre for introductions and a H&S / COVID briefing. To reduce contact points, there will not be an event log book to sign for this CITO.
We will provide all the materials, tools and refreshments on the day. You will need to bring a cup for your cuppa.
Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times. No dogs are allowed in the cemetery, apart from registered assistance dogs. Please remember that this is a working cemetery and there will probably be people visiting graves.
Our tasks on the day may change depending on the weather, we will update the listing and make announcements accordingly, please ensure you have logged a 'will attend' to receive these updates.
