September 18th is Worldwide Flashmob Day! In hundreds of cities around the world, tens of thousands of geocachers are hosting flash mobs: some coordinated at the exact same time! The WWFM is the annual GEOCACHING flash mob extravaganza which was started in 2007 by Team PodCacher.
It will be Cunnamulla's First Flashmob.
At this Flashmob event, please follow these instructions precisely. It is recommended that you get to the event early and wander around the park like a muggle, as flashmobs require very precise timing!
Please bring your BUBBLES with you.
Schedule:
At precisely 11:30am- Take out your bubbles, and we'll start walking around the park for the next few minutes blowing your bubbles.
At 11:40am- Move into the Bandstand, and when we are all together, turn outwards, and blow your bubbles towards the crowd.
At 11:50am- Gather together facing the VIC for a few group photos and a video of mass bubble blowing..
At 12:00pm- The event is over. Walk off in a random direction, dispersing in varying directions as if nothing had happened!
We'll then reconvene across Stockyard Street at the coffee shop for anyone who wants to chat about geocaching or form a group to cache in the area afterwards.
