CENTRO DE ALTO RENDIMENTO HIPPOS GOLEGÃ PARA HIPISMO E DESPORTOS EQUESTRES
O Centro de Alto Rendimento Hippos Golegã, aberto em maio de 2013, é o primeiro do género em Portugal para desportos equestres.
Sedeado na Golegã, conhecida como a “Capital do Cavalo”, no coração de Portugal e a uma hora do Aeroporto de Lisboa este espaço tem como objetivos principais a preparação de praticantes desportivos e de equipas na sua missão de representar desportivamente Portugal nos diversos Campeonatos Internacionais e o acompanhamento físico e psico-motor dos praticantes de alta competição, assim como do seu percurso, no sentido de potencializar o seu rendimento desportivo.
Visitar a Golegã, os seus recantos e lugares, é percorrer páginas de uma história antiga, secular, marcante e influenciadora do presente. Toda a Vila desenha-se de arruamentos reticulares que emergem de uma Praça Central, a qual integra três elementos fundamentais no seu enquadramento histórico: a Matriz quinhentista, o Pelourinho e o Palácio seiscentista que é complementado pelo “Templo da Fotografia”, a Casa-Estúdio Carlos Relvas.
A Casa-Estúdio, o atelier fotográfico edificado entre os anos 1871-1875, fruto do espírito criativo de Carlos Relvas foi uma obra realizada com o intuito específico de celebrar e desenvolver a atividade fotográfica.
Do património histórico-monumental do Concelho são de relevar ainda, na Golegã, o Solar da Quinta de Santo António (séc. XVII), que foi da família de São João de Brito, o Solar da Quinta do Salvador (séc. XVIII), Quartel-General de Junot, em 1807, a Capela de Santo António e a Capela de Nossa Senhora dos Anjos (séc. XVII). Na Azinhaga são de salientar a Capela de São João da Ventosa (séc. XVI), a Matriz (séc. XVI-XVIII), a Capela de São José (séc. XVI), o Solar dos Serrões (séc. XVII) e ainda o Palácio da Broa (Séc. XIX).

HIPPOS GOLEGÃ HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER FOR HIDING AND EQUESTRIAN SPORTS
The Hippos Golegã High Performance Center, opened in May 2013, is the first of its kind in Portugal for equestrian sports.
Based in Golegã, known as the “Capital do Cavalo”, in the heart of Portugal and an hour from Lisbon Airport, this space has as its main objectives the preparation of sports practitioners and teams in their mission to represent Portugal in sport in the various International Championships and the physical and psycho-motor monitoring of top competition practitioners, as well as their path, in order to enhance their sporting performance.
Visiting Golegã, its nooks and crannies, is to go through pages of an ancient, secular history, striking and influencing the present. The entire village is designed with reticular streets that emerge from a Central Square, which integrates three fundamental elements in its historical framework: the 16th century Matrix, the Pillory and the 17th century Palace that is complemented by the “Temple of Photography”, the Casa- Studio Carlos Relvas.
The Casa-Estúdio, the photographic studio built between the years 1871-1875, fruit of the creative spirit of Carlos Relvas, was a work carried out with the specific purpose of celebrating and developing photographic activity.
