The mill of W Nash Ltd would have been on the River Cray. Many of the war memorials from now defunct firms have been lost but this fine example has been beautifully preserved.
You should be standing directly in front of the memorial. Under your feet, or slightly behind you, is a metal cover with 9 letters on it. Convert them to numbers and put them into the below formula:
N51 24. 4th-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-1st-8th
E0 7. 1st-8th, 2nd-4th-7th, 6th-9th
