Balderton War Memorial is a Grade II listed structure, achieving the listing on 15 October 1984. Also listed is the wall behind it and the gate piers.
The memorial is made of ashlar and is set in front of the wall.
This was the public memorial and does not contain the names of the fallen from the village. A second memorial hangs on the wall of St Giles church, commemorating each man that made the ultimate sacrifice, but that is only able to be seen when the church is open.
