Pioneer Park
This park is missed a lot of times being visited by tourists. The park has benches, kids play area, picnic tables, and a GREAT view of the St. Croix Valley River valley. Bring your binoculars and cameras!!! Only problem is no pets. Bathrooms and water availible. The center of the park is lower which was the basement of lumber baron Issac Staples' mansion. , the Lumber company owner in the mid-1800s. Stillwater is a great town to tour and many different places to eat and visit. I recommend if traveling through, to tour around Stillwater and enjoy. To much to write here. If you do not get my reply back in a hours or days, you may want to check your settings. I use to play frizbee a lot with my dog before they fixed it up when I lived on the "north hill". Visual due to high maint of city workers keeping it clean and crowded during weekends. Enjoy the view!!! Some of the pictures posted here by finders are great. Fun! Hey !!
