Geocache Description:

Beautiful Pine Point Park.
This Geocache here since Oct. 2002.

Pine Point Park is a beautiful area to walk, hike, horseback, bike, and cross country skiing. The parking area does charge a fee ($5 day or $25 yr for 2004) to park car, but you can always bike or hike through park via bike path connected to Twin Cities (Gateway Trail). Park and (New) toilets are open all year round. Picnic tables by building. All Washington County Parks are open from 7:00 a.m. until ½ hour after sunset. Water available May 1 - October 1.
This is a beautiful area for walking around different paths, about 5 miles of multi use trails. I grew up in area and walked around park many times with family and dog (leashed). Great place to walk with the family, looking at trees, water, animals, ect. Enjoy the area!!

You don't have to go into the bushes and bushwhack to geocache! (Let me know by email if problems).
I hope to see many different TRAVEL BUGS pass though here for I like the stories on them.

Vehicle permits are required for access to all county and regional parks, except for Point Douglas Park. Vehicle permits, however, are not required on the first non-holiday Tuesday of each month or on the first Saturday of June. Vehicle permits can be purchased at either park office, or by depositing the fee in the payment box at the park entrance. DNR licenses (fishing, hunting, cross-country ski, etc.) are also available at either park office.
