A winter storm dumped around 10 inches of heavy snow on the Triangle on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Nearly 200,000 homes lost power. Snow blanketed the area.
The ATT was a winter wonderland. However, there were at least a dozen trees down across the trail between New Hope Church Road and O’Kelly Chapel Road. Surprisingly, crews removed them within 48 hours clearing the way for walkers, bikers & joggers.
