Esta cache encontra-se num local quase desconhecido para a maior parte das pessoas, incluindo os residentes na zona.
Em 10 de Abril de 1921 despenhou-se neste local um avião Nieuport pilotado pelo Tenente Coronel Castilho Nobre, primeiro Comandante da Aeronautica Portuguesa tendo este falecido neste acidente. A missão era prestar homenagem aos soldados desconhecidos que foram sepultados no Mosteiro da Batalha mas não conseguiu chegar ao destino. Neste acidente o segundo piloto conseguiu salvar-se.
Este monumento aqui colocado faz-nos perceber a importância que o Tenente Coronel Castilho Nobre teve para a nossa pátria.

This cache is located in a location almost unknown to most people, including residents of the area.
On April 10th of 1921, a Nieuport plane crashed in this location, flown by Lieutenant Colonel Castilho Nobre, first Commander of Aeronautica Portuguesa, who died in this accident. The mission was to pay homage to the unknown soldiers who were buried in the Mosteiro da Batalha but failed to reach their destination. In this accident the second pilot managed to save himself.
This monument placed here makes us realize the importance that Lieutenant Colonel Castilho Nobre had for our homeland.
