Geocache Description:

Being a woodworker I am always interested in trees and such things as their hardness, strength, color, grain structure and even to the surprise of some their symbolism.  From the begining of time Trees have been important in our human lives, the Old Testament mentions the Tree of Knowledge in Genisis. For years we have counted on trees for everything from cooking to our dwellings.  Symbolism with trees has been around since we have, and trees in general have symbolized physical and spiritual nourishment, union and fertility.  More recent symbolism still exist, for example because the mighty Oak tree is so strong and lives so long it symbolizes power and courage, the Maple tree symbolized longevity, generosity and intelligence.

When I found the particular tree around this cache I loved the structure and how it has grown so I had to find out its symbolism. With a little research I found out it symbolizes Dignity and Nobility and in ancient China they were considered perfect symbols of womanly beauty and gentleness. The flowers of this tree can be seen today in the American South in bridal bouquets, again symbolizing the bride's nobility and purity.

I hope you enjoy this cache, there is a small little area off the road to park, not much muggle activity but from time to time you may see a police officer or worker here having their lunch away from the job site or doing computer work in their mobile office.  If that is the case I would recommend coming back just a little while later.  Also this is land owned by an investment firm so if it is sold to a developer and any kind of work starts being done in the area I will disable the cache immediately.

For the FTF there is pen made by us and it is made from Bubinga wood. The Bubinga tree grows in equatorial Africa and symbolizes sensitivity and balance.  There are many other trinkets in the cache as well including some glass dome Cabochons with what else but trees!

Congratulations to FTF BrenCo2020
