JLWE 2021 CITO Venue – Alfred Langhorne Park

Event – Clearing the park of weeds and raking the area. BYO Gloves

 

Teams from Langhorne Legendary Layover here is your chance to help keep a little bit of South Australian alive.

Situated along the main road through Langhorne Creek, Alfred Langhorne Park is a quaint, idyllic picnic spot in the centre of the popular wine region. The park features a sheltered barbecue area and picnic table. An information board provides details and history of the local area. The park has been planted with a variety of trees including indigenous and horticultural species.

The park also features the sculpture “Flow” as part of the Adelaide Hills International Sculpture Symposium, one of the 26 on the sculpture trail.

Come along and make a difference to a little piece of South Australia by assisting the volunteers to clean up this park.
