Taditional cache in wooded area.
Der Eschenbuck bildet den zentralen Bereich eines ausgedehnten Waldgebietes, welches nur von der A7 zwischen den Anschlußstellen Dinkelsbühl und Ellwangen durchkreuzt wird. Rund um das Waldgebiet gibt es eine Vielzahl von Wanderparkplätzen. Wer mit dem Zug anreist sollte von Jagstzell aus starten. Unabhängig vom gewählten Startpunkt sind es 3 bis 4 Kilometer Fußmarsch durch den Wald. Der Schatz befindet sich an der Baumwurzel eines gefällten Baumes, der dem Sturm Lothar zum Opfer gefallen ist. Cache am 26.06.205 aufgefrischt und mit neuen Logbuch versehen. Schäden von Lothar bereits gut zugewachsen. Bitte weit Oberhalb des Stumpfes verstecken, so dass nicht so viel Nässe hinkommt. The Eschenbuck is located in the center of a large forest area, which is only crossed by the A7 on the way from Dinkelsbühl to Ellwangen. Around the forest are several places for parking the car. If you prefer to travel by train you should start at Jagstzell train station. Independent of the starting point you will have to walk about 3 to 4 kilometers through the forest. The cache is located below the roots of a tree, which is a sacrifice of the storm Lothar. Update and new logbook on 26.05.2005. Please hide cache well below the ground because of the rain. Have fun!
