6272 – ANTIGA FÁBRICA DE CURTUMES
Pelos finais de 1800 foi construída por desconhecido proveniente de Mação Vila onde à época já existiam fabricas de tecelagem e tendo como objetivo o aproveitamento da lã do muito gado que na zona havia, assim como na aldeia igualmente muita mão de obra disponível, não faltando água para a lavagem da mesma (São visíveis ainda no seu interior e exterior os tanques para esse fim).
Não se sabe se a sua atividade se iniciou com ou sem autorização, consta por informação de antepassados que o cheiro envolvente era muito desagradável, assim como a água libertada para o pequeno ribeiro anexo provocando revolta à população, igualmente se não ignora se foram estas as razões do seu encerramento pela Venatória.
Pelos atuais proprietários do terreno, fica-se a saber que, pelo início de 1900, este terreno era propriedade de João Simões negociante e natural de Aldeia de Eiras vindo a casar com Maria Thomásia, natural desta aldeia (Carregueira).

From the current owners of the land, it is known that, by the beginning of 1900, this land was owned by João Simões, a businessman and natural of Aldeia de Eiras, who married Maria Thomásia, natural of this village (Carregueira).
