Important: To log this cache
Post a picture of your GPS within 5 meters (15 feet) of the cache coordinates. The picture must be legible enough to see at least the degrees and minutes on the display. Screen captures of your phone-as-GPS are not sufficient. If you cannot take a picture of your GPS because your GPS is also your camera, you must post a picture of the stake at the cache location. It is not sufficient to post a picture of yourself at some random location on top of Half Dome.
"Found It" logs that do not include the required photo will be deleted.
If you can, take a picture of yourself there, too.
Post the required picture with your log. See the example pictures below.
Note that this cache is accessible without special equipment only from late May to mid October. Get an update on trail conditions here. Please note that trail permits are required in order to ascend the cables to the cache location.
The cache location is a metal stake that sticks up out of the rock about eight inches.
