FTIC February 2021 Event Cache

Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC).

This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland.

We will be meeting in the same location as January's event, which is different from the previous few months. The new area is well lit, and is adjacent to the new Merriweather parking garage, in case the weather gets dicey. 

Thursday, February 4, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm (or whenever it gets too cold to carry on)

If you would like to sit during the event, consider bringing a folding chair or seat.

Although we’ve normally met at the food court in the Columbia Mall, because of our social distancing concerns during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve moved the location to the parking lot just south of Merriweather Post Pavilion. Bring your mask/face covering to wear and protect others. Dress in layers -- February can be cold!

This is a simple meet and greet for geocachers in and around Columbia, Maryland.

Anyone and everyone is welcome.

There is a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the mall and around the mall for all tastes and desires.

We use this event for meeting fellow cachers, planning trips, recommending caches and giving tips, and just getting out of the blankety-blank house!
