鍛鍊山標高1792公尺，擁有三等三角點No.6381，是位在太魯閣的一座中級山。這座山的登山口是頗富盛名的蓮花池。從中橫的迴頭彎進入，沿林道走至蓮花池後再下切至西喀拉溪。繼續溯行一段後即需要上切，再陡上700公尺後即可到達鍛鍊山頂。山頂的展望良好，可以看見近處的海鼠山與遠處的三角錐山等名山。這座山具有一定的危險性，若想造訪須帶齊溯溪裝備與各種登山裝備，並妥善製作地圖才推薦造訪。
The DuanLian mountain has an elevation of 1792 meters and has a tri-benchmark No.6381. It is an intermediate mountain in Taroko. The entrance of this mountain is the famous Lotus pond. Enter from the Huitouwan in Central Cross-lsland Highway, walk along the forest road to the Lotus pond and then cut down to the West Kara River. After continuing for a while, you need to cut upwards, and then climb 700 meters to reach the top of the DuanLian mountain. The view from the top of the mountain is good, and you can see famous mountains such as the HaiSu Mountain nearby and the ShanJiaoDrui Mountain in the distance. This mountain is dangerous. If you want to visit, you must bring along the river tracing equipment and all kinds of climbing equipment, and make a proper map before you recommend visiting.
