Lockdown in 2020 saw my first attempt at a consecutive run of caching days end after 35 days - 20 short of my original goal for a challenge cache in Christchurch. After 50 consecutive days of not finding a cach during lockdown, I started my run again and made the original goal of 55 days. Then I thought "Well, I could go for 100". Before I had even reached the 100 day mark I figured I'd keep going hoping the caches I had yet to find in and around Dunedin would be able to keep me going. I had to constrain myself whilst caching in Dunedin, being selective and keeping a few close to home for those busy days. I did make up for this when away from home, finding as many caches as time would allow.
Not only is this my 365th consecutive day (COVID levels permitting between now and then), it is also my final dot day to be filled and my first time hosting an event!
Seems a good enough reason for a catch up
