According to the website https://nationaltoday.com/national-day-calendar, 16 Jan 2021 is Fig Cookie Day! Team JR! really likes fig cookies so we wanted all of our geocaching friends to celebrate with us! We will meet at the pavillion at the posted coordinates to consume some yummy fig cookies! We will have food service gloves to wear while serving up these delicious cookies! Also, eventhough we will be outside, we ask that you wear a mask and to observe the recommended 6-foot social distance between each other.
Please let us know in your Will Attend log your favorite flavor of fig cookies since they seem to come in a variety of flavors and we will try to accommodate. Please watch the weather, too, since it will be mid-January in South Texas. It could be hot or cold or somewhere in between, so plan to dress accordingly.
