Geocache Description:

13 February 2021, 13:45 - 15:30

Date: 13 February 2021 (Saturday)

Time: 1:45 - 3:30 p.m.

Place: Argyle Shore, PEI (Potts Sleigh Rides)

Purpose: Sleigh Ride, Hot Chocolate & Social Fun

Bring your snowshoes and join us for a quick winter workout (optional) before retiring to a homey cabin as we warm up in front of an antique pot bellied stove with hot chocolate and cookies. Sharing caching stories & lies is encouraged. Winter doesn’t really get any better than that!

For those not wanting to snowshoe, there’s an optional sleigh ride before gathering in the cabin. Go “Dashing (Caching?) Thru the Snow” in a one-horse open sleigh (two-horse sleigh if there’s lots of us!). Join an “Island Tradition” as we enjoy a 45-minute sleigh ride through the woods.
If you want to ensure a seat on the sleigh, you must pre-register (nominal fee of $5.00). Sleigh rides leave on the hour, so please be punctual (1345 hours)!

Note: This GeoEvent is dependent on COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions in effect at the time. Social distancing & mask-wearing may be required & will be enforced.
The absence of Island snow (we can only wish?) may also cancel this GeoEvent. In the meantime, listen to the following event-appropriate song:
