This is the first of the caches found by the Humanities department of Haileybury Almaty school in the fall of 2020. While researching the facts of Tomyris, the legendary queen of the Scythians of this region in their battles against the Persian Empire, the team came across a series of sealed containers containing evidence of the events of that dangerous time.
This first sealed container was found on the grounds of today´s Gorky Park, where the palaces of Tomyris possibly once stood.
To respect history and further investigation, the team kept the sealed container in place but added a notebook, a pencil and a small gift for the first to find it. Sign your name and be prepared to find the next containers as the Humanities department confirms their position on this platform.
