Long Bennington War Memorial stands in its own garden. It is unusual because it is a square stone pillar in three sections. The top section is a square urn like shape with ornate carving. The middle section has beautiful ornate carving. The third section has metal plaques, which were originally granite, with a dedication an the names of the fallen from the parish. The whole memorial then stands on square base with low metal fence surround.
