This cache is located near a map marked place of local interest. While the terrain make this a fairly easy stroll, the tree canopy can play havoc with your GPS.
The cache is a small tuperware container wrapped by two gray plastic bags, containing small toys, us airborne wings, 1st US Infantry Division Coin, mini-mag flashlight, 80s music mix CD and small CD-ROM game.
Recommend taking the long way in, primarily to enjoy the scenery and forest! Starting at the Steinbachtal parking place at 49 46.082N/ 009 53.803E (there is even a bus-stop there!) you can even take multiple paths (from gravel wide paths to single track mountain bike trails) depending on your likes. There is a significant amount of tree canopy which can interfere with your GPS, so take advantage of the clearings (or plot it on a good topo map before going in). The cache is a little off the beaten path, but don't get "spooked" by the surroundings!
