Al jaren doen wij aan geocaching. Het wordt nu tijd om er zelf ook ééntje te plaatsen. Randwijck ontleent zijn naam aan het bastion Randwijck. Deze fortificatie lag op een eiland in de Maas, op de plek waar in 1986 het Limburgs Gouvernement werd gebouwd. De bouw van deze wijk is eind jaren 70 van de vorige eeuw begonnen. Midden in deze woonwijk, op een plek waar veel buurtgenoten elkaar treffen,ligt de cache verstopt.
For several years now we're hunting for geocaches. Now it's time to place one of our own. The name Randwijck comes from a bastion which originally was situated on a little island in the Maas. On that same place they build in 1986 the Limburg Gouvernement. They started to create the neighbouhood in the late 70 ths. In the middle of this area there is a place where locals meet. There the cache is hidden.
