Bring Your Own Boat & Bring Your Own Coffee #2
Come get your float on and prepare for the sunrise over Shawnee Mission Lake.
Do not confuse this with DrPowercat's BOYC & BYOB events. This one is coffee specific and the boat comes first. I suppose you can bring whatever you want, but I'll have a boat in the water and my coffee in the boat.
Boating here requires a permit. You are responsible for obtaining this. You can call the park office and get one over the phone. An email receipt suffices if you get checked.
To attend this event, you need to be on the water during the event and specifically, before the event ends at 7:15 AM. No attending from the dock or shore. You need to be in a boat or on a paddleboard or similar on the water in the immediate vicinity of the posted coordinates. No late attendees - when I'm off the water, the event ends.
