Geocache Description:

14 November 2020, 10:00 - 11:00

So keeping with tradition: CJ is hosting one at the same time as the US (https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC90R91_wwfm-xvii-its-finally-happening) and I am hosting the one at our timezone.

The postponed and long-awaited World Wide Flash Mob 2020 is here.

This one is a little different, this will be a CITO event. After all we come together at the start of the event (the way a traditional flash mob would) then all disappear off to collect rubbish. As the event will be at Signal Hill, come along dressed or with items along the theme of Signalling.

Everyone who logs an “Attended” at a CITO Event during Cache In Trash Out®, Season 2: September 1 through November 30, 2020 earns a CITO souvenir for their Geocaching profile.

I'll provide the bags, surgical gloves and sunscreen. If possible please bring any heavy duty gloves or own pick up sticks you may want. Also recommend sturdy shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty (there is a risk of them getting ripped by some of the trees).

Time and Date: 10.00-11.00am on Saturday 14th November.  If needed happy to give up to 3 people a lift from town up to CITO.

Meet: Viewing platform at Signal Hill.

Weather forecast: Will update closer to the time

I am asking Keep Dunedin Beautiful Community @ DCC to collect the rubbish bags after our event but we might have to take them to the nearest public bin.
