Welcome to the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department and Latta Park in Historic Dilworth, where we are “Enhancing community wellness through recreation, open space, and natural resources.” At Tom Sykes Recreation Center (1501 Euclid Ave. at Dilworth Elementary School) we offer a variety of exciting programs for all ages. Including sports (basketball, flag football, volleyball), afterschool programs, out of school day full day programs, Winter/Spring/Summer Camps, and outdoor/nature-based classes.
