Um dos pontos mais altos de Ortiga.
Este local encerra em si, um conjunto alargado de interesses, além do aspeto visual.
O viajante, tem uma visão quase de 360 graus em seu redor.
Com tempo favorável, poderemos avistar a Oeste, os territórios do Sardoal, a cidade de Abrantes. Mais a sul, avista-se a Central Termoelétrica do Pego e todos os campos de Alvega. Para sudeste, fica em linha de visão a Barragem de Belver, a Praia Fluvial de Ortiga, o Castelo de Belver, Belver e mais ao longe a Vila do Gavião, estes dois últimos já em territórios Alentejanos.
Aos pés deste Miradouro a Ortiga, quase na totalidade.
Existem, neste local, mais dois pontos de interesse. O Vértice Geodésico da Formosa e uma casa, que os locais chamam de Casa da Formosa e que se contam histórias, em que durante os anos 70, aqui teriam pernoitado elementos das antigas FP25 de Abril, Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho e o cantor Zeca Afonso.
Ainda hoje é visível do exterior, o local do esconderijo dos mesmos.

One of Ortiga's highest points.
This site contains a wide range of interests, in addition to the visual aspect.
The traveler has an almost 360 degree view around him.
With favorable weather, we will be able to see to the west, the territories of Sardoal, the city of Abrantes. Further south, you can see the Pego Thermoelectric Power Station and all the fields in Alvega. To the southeast, the Belver Dam, the Fluvial Beach of Ortiga, the Belver Castle, Belver and further afield Vila do Gavião are in sight, the latter two already in Alentejo territories.

There are two more points of interest here. The Geodesic Vertex of Formosa and a house, which the locals call Casa da Formosa and which tell stories, in which during the 1970s, elements of the old April FP25, Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho and singer Zeca Afonso would have spent the night here.
Even today it is visible from the outside, the location of their hiding place.
