The above coordinates will take you to a path within the graveyard of St Margaret's Church in the village of Halstead (see also Church Micro 2818...Halstead).
Within the church there are two wall mounted rectangular plain marble tablets with moulded borders, one commemorating 17 local men who died in the First World War (1914-1918) and the other commemorating 23 local men who died in the Second World War (1939-1945). Both include inscriptions with the words “To the glory of god and in honoured memory of the men of Halstead…”

Also within the churchyard are 3 Commonwealth war graves, marked by white crosses, relating to the Second World War.
The opening times of the church may be found on line. The church is well worth a visit, but you do not have to enter to complete the cache.
The cache container may be found a short walk away, but first you need to find some information. Within the graveyard is a gravestone situated approximately 7 steps away from the posted coordinates (N51 20.096 E00 07.718). This grave is particularly relevant to the First World War. You are looking for a date, namely June AB CDEF.
