Part of Nation Valley ATV Club's Scotch Line Series of Caches
A serives of caches Scotch Line Road Allowance. Scotch Line Road Allowance stretches from Merrickville through to Kemptville, with a vast amount of different terrain.
A short couple of meters off of this road allowance is this strange structure that we can make neither head's nor tails of what it is at all...you will have to see for yourself and see if you have a better idea than us. It appears to be on a cement slab, but made to appear as an old structure. Is it an old outdoor bread-oven?
It is hallow inside, so couldn't have been a bread oven, and it isn't open at the top to allow smoke out....
There appears to be a recessed area at the back that may have held a plaque? But this is on the rear of the structure facing away from the road. The mystery continues to be unsolved, so we'll leave it up to you to tell us what it is, or what you think it is in your logs!
