A la fin du XIXème siècle, malgré l’afflux des émigrants, la Basse Turbie (future Beausoleil) n'a pas de lieu de culte. Pour cette population à forte dominance italienne, très attachée à la pratique religieuse, seule existe la lointaine église Saint Michel, située au cœur du village de La Turbie. La construction démarrera en 1913.

At the end of the 19th century, despite the influx of emigrants, Basse Turbie (future Beausoleil) had no place of worship. For this population with a strong Italian dominance, very attached to religious practice, only the distant Saint Michel church exists, located in the heart of the village of La Turbie.
