Located along the Waterfront trail between Ajax and Pickering is a lovely scenic location called Birdhouse Row. If you look up in the trees you will see some colourful little birdhouses to enjoy on your walk or bike ride. I happened to have a nifty cache container all ready to go that can hold some travel bugs that also happens to be a birdhouse so it fits right in with this theme.
This cache is located just north of the trail and hidden from view so expect a little bushwack. The home made container is unique and fragile so please be gentle when opening and replace to "factory setting" The logbook is inside a second container and there is a little room for travel bugs.
Be aware that this area has a lot of muggle traffic at all times of the year, especially spring, summer and fall. Also in summer this area can become overgrown so watch your step.
Please let me know if there is any damage to the container of if you are unable to open it. If you remove a travel bug, please make note and pick it up online as soon as possible. I will attempt to keep it stocked with at least one TB or more throughout the year.
