Upper Priest Lake Trail and Caribou Creek
This cache is placed along the Upper Priest Lake Trail, which comprises a portion of the Idaho Centennial Trail. The journey from the provided trailhead to the cache and back is about 1.5 miles round-trip. The route is relatively flat in this area and provides a peaceful walk through the woods.
The cache placement is close to Caribou Creek in the location pictured above, and provides a wonderful spot to stop for a picnic or simply take in the view. The trail continues north from here along the edge of Upper Priest Lake, but just a short distance from here requires fording of Caribou Creek. Come prepared with a change of socks if that is your plan!
