Surrey Midweek Monthly Event #131
Welcome to the 131st Surrey Monthly Mid-Week Event, held on the fourth Thursday of the month and this month we shall be at the Merry Harriers pub in Hambledon, Hambledon Road, Hambledon, Surrey GU8 4DR. on Thursday 28th July 2022. This one will be a Community Celebration event - so let's celebrate all things Caching and hope the weather is kind to us.
TheBignells (Ronnie) will be your host and we will have the use of the garden marquee and other tables if numbers require. Meet in the garden at the back of the pub, under the Marquee, at the published coordinates and parking is directly opposite the pub or at the overflow car park, further down the road. If you have never been to an event before, you are more than welcome, and it will be lovely to meet you. You don't just have to be from Surrey, any county, any country - the more the merrier. It is a great way to meet fellow cachers and share caching stories over a glass or two. Maybe even pick up a hint (or three) for any of those elusive puzzles.
There will be the usual opportunity to swap and share travel bugs and maybe get rid of those big ones you have been trying to dump on someone.
The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex and Hampshire meets and are nominally held on the fourth Thursday of every month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey.
